How to Join:

  1. Attend a meeting ​​

    • We meet Thursdays from 7:00-8:30 PM during the school year

    • Check our calendar for the next meeting dates

    • Let our troop secretary know when you will be stopping by (bsatroop44secretary@outlook.com)

    • Ages 11-17 are welcome

  2. Create a parent/guardian account here: https://my.scouting.org/

  3. Fill out the scout membership application HERE.

  4. Enjoy the benefits of being a scout in Troop 44!

If you would like to attend one of our camping trips with your scout, log into the my.scouting.org account you created above and go to THIS LINK to complete the Youth Protection Training, good for two years.

What to Get at the Scout Store:

​​

Please note: Used uniform shirts and pants may be available in smaller sizes at no charge so ask at a troop meeting if interested.

​

​The Scout Shop is located in Westampton, NJ.  Best to bring your scout in so he can get the correct size shirt and pants (buy larger as they will grow).  Tell them he is a new scout with Troop 44 in Moorestown and they'll give you everything you need.  The Troop 44 neckerchief will be given to the scout at a meeting.

​

Must have:

  • Shirt (you can buy one with pre-sewn patches for additional cost)

  • Pants

  • Slide (for the neckerchief)

  • Patches (if you don't get them pre-sewn, may still need troop numbers)

  • Socks

  • Belt

  • Scout Handbook

​

Optional:

  • Badge Magic (adhesive sheets to apply patches without the need to sew) - follow instructions as it is not "iron-on"

  • Scout cap

  • Handbook cover (recommended as all handbooks are spiral-bound now)
